Stayed in a dorm with a balcony! Wow. Loved chilling in the shared lounge and enjoyed sipping drinks at the bar. Also, the garden and terrace were simply divine!
Oh, nothing at all. It's not like I expected perfection or anything.

I had an amazing time at this beach hostel in Negombo! From the moment I arrived, the manager went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. He even lent me a bicycle and helped me plan my itinerary around Sri Lanka. His tips and recommendations have been spot on so far. The location of the hostel couldn't be better, right on the beach and in a lovely neighborhood. The room was clean and tidy, and I appreciated having both a fan and AC. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We had a fantastic stay at Sea Sands Beach in Negombo. the location was perfect, with numerous restaurants and pubs right downstairs, and the beautiful beach just a few steps away. We especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant with live music, which had a stunning terrace overlooking the beach and sunset. the owner was incredibly caring and flexible, and the rooms were spotlessly clean, including the bathroom. We highly recommend this place to other travelers looking for great value for money. Cons: Could not be improved in any way. 🌟.

The location of this hostel couldn't be any better! It's right on the beach, offering stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff here are amazing too. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay and are always willing to help with any needs or questions. Another great aspect is the spacious rooms with a balcony. It's the perfect place to chill and enjoy the beautiful beach views.
During my visit, there was a lack of activity in the area due to the ongoing unrest in the city. Many of the shops and restaurants were closed temporarily, which was a bit disappointing.

I had a fantastic time at Sea Sands Beach! The view from the balcony was breathtaking, and I loved relaxing in the hammocks by the beach. The hostel's location was perfect, and I met some great fellow travelers. The rooms and beds were basic but comfortable, and the host was friendly and provided free tea and water. Plus, there's a Swiss restaurant nearby that I highly recommend!
The common area was a bit messy due to ongoing construction and didn't have a cozy vibe. And during my extended stay, I noticed that the hostel lacked proper cleanliness and hygiene measures.

The room was cozy and had a nice homey feel to it. I loved the fact that it had a kitchen with a fridge and minibar. It made it easy for me to store and prepare snacks for our treks. The kitchenette was a real bonus!
Personally, I found the kitchenette a bit small for my liking.
